The founders of Strategic Focus are experienced entrepreneurs Jo & Sam Taylor: they offer hands-on personal support to start-up, small and medium sized businesses, enabling them to overcome the challenges that arise and helping them to achieve their aspirations for growth

Jo was born and grew up in Yorkshire, she studied at Leeds School of Architecture and completed a Diploma in Management Studies at Brookes University, Oxford.

Her career path took her into project management, specialising in the development of hospitals and nursing homes, in both the public and private healthcare sectors. This led with Sam Taylor to the establishment of Tamaris Plc, a private healthcare company, taking it from a start up to a full listing on the London Stock Exchange in six and a half years.

The sale of the company gave Jo the opportunity with her background in strategic planning to help start up and emerging companies with their vision for the future and bring practical help to enable them to achieve their goals..

Born and educated in Scotland, Sam subsequently built a successful career in applying the professionalism of the accountant to the funding, development and management of emerging businesses

Over the years Sam held a number of posts as Finance Director of both small and large organisations in the UK and internationally before setting up with his wife Jo their own private healthcare company, which grew from nothing to a listing on the London Stock Exchange in six and a half years.

Since selling the business Sam has devoted his time and energy to offering his extensive experience to emerging businesses as a Corporate Adviser and Company Chairman.
